T.E. Neesby Enerphos

Enerphos contains phosphate esters of serine and ethanolamine present as calcium magnesium salts. The improvement made with Enerphos is that the phosphoserine component is made separately and re-precipitated to purify it. It is then added back to the ethanolamine phosphate during the final neutralization step. This results in a product with superior assimilation and efficacy.

Ethanolamine phosphate and phosphoserine are biologically active molecules found in the body. The commonly known health food Lecithin, derived from soy, contains some of these same phosphate esters which have been further combined with fats to form molecules called phospholipids. The body can use ethanolamine phosphate to form phospolipids known as Cephalins which are present in myelin that insulates the nerves.
